The planning phase of the project is for you to think about, reflect on and start planning your Challenge. Don’t rush the planning phase and take the time to really explore your thoughts, feelings and what is possible!
You might consider talking to your parents, friends and other trusted adults about some of your thinking and project. You could also seek their advice about what they feel would an important challenge for you. Try and speak with at least two or three people about your project (this could be your mentor or someone else.
We encourage you to keep some type of simple but useful journal (this can be in any form) of your ideas and explore what is possible. You can also post your thinking to our blog. Remember it should be challenging but also realistic?
Some questions to consider might be:
Is my project safe?
Will my project hold my interest?
What aspect of leadership, and myself as a leader, does my project address?
Is my project challenging for me?
Do I need permission for some aspects of my project? You may need permission from your parents, school or local council depending on what your project’s requirements
Please post a summar of your initial thinking on what on your Challenge might be to the blog.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
